Audi Q8 - Scene placement, Look development & Post Processing
Here I have worked on a billboard concept for the Audi Q8. My aim was to place it in a natural environment, this was to make the modern SUV pop in contrast to the setting. I’m very happy with the result, as it achieves the look of a billboard. The outcome is mostly 3D besides the typography, colour correction and some camera effects. This piece was completed over a 2-day period.
These are the passes I rendered using the Arnold renderer (Photoshop edit, Specular, Diffuse, Coat and Crypto material). These helped a lot with the editing process in Photoshop, mixing them and using the Crypto pass to individually tweak specific objects to better fit the scene.
